Advantages of Laptop over a Desktop Computer

A laptop computer is also usually called a notebook computer by some manufactures. It is a battery or AC powered personal computer. Advantages of a laptop computer over a desktop computer are as follows:
Laptop is generally smaller than a briefcase that can easily be transported and conveniently used in temporary spaces such as on airplanes, in libraries, offices and at meetings.
Desktop computers are designed to fit conveniently on top of a typical office/home desk and cannot be used on the move.
Laptop contains all the same components as desktop computers and have a built-in LCD screen, keyboard and mouse and yet just weighs around 2 Kg to 3 Kg and is slim.
We can work on Laptop for few hours without electricity if it's battery is charged.
As laptop computer is portable, we don't necessarily require a desk or table. Also it doesn't require UPS.
