Definition of terms: Hardware and Software

Hardware Definition: All physical components/devices of a computer that we can touch and see are referred to as hardware. The input devices like keyboard, mouse; output devices like monitor, printer; storage devices like magnetic disk, pen drive are referred to as hardware.
Software Definition: Software can be defined as a collection of computer programs. A software/computer program is used to process the raw data and convert it into information.
